About NavoTech

A small U.S. agency for businesses that want a real website, not a template

We build websites, web apps, brand systems, and AI search visibility programs for businesses that care about doing the work right. We are not the cheapest. We are not the loudest. We are the ones who think the whole thing through.

What we actually do

NavoTech is a small senior agency. We build business websites in WordPress and Laravel. We do healthcare web work with privacy-aware setups. We design logos and brand systems. We run technical and local SEO. And we help businesses get found and quoted inside AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

Most of our work is for U.S. small and mid-size businesses, usually 5 to 200 employees, often in regulated or technical fields where templates fall apart. We say no to projects we are wrong for. The work we take on, we take seriously.

We don't run paid ads, we don't outsource production, and we don't have a sales team. The senior person who scopes a project is the one who reviews the build at launch.

Who leads the work

Mustafa Karim is the founder and principal consultant. He scopes every project personally, leads discovery and information architecture, and reviews every build before launch. His background covers WordPress and Laravel development, technical SEO, schema markup, and AI search work for U.S. businesses.

When you send an inquiry, the first written reply is from him. Not an SDR. Not a chatbot. Not a generic info inbox.

How we work

  1. An honest scoping conversationMost agency proposals are written from "you said you want a redesign, here is the redesign price." We start with whether you actually need what you asked for. About a third of our first conversations end with us recommending a different scope, or recommending you don't hire us at all.
  2. Written proposals, not slide decksOur proposals are documents you can read, share internally, and reference six months later. They name the work, the deliverables, the timeline, the price, and the assumptions. They are short enough to actually be read.
  3. One senior point of contactYou talk to the same person from kickoff to handover. Specialists come in when we need them, like a copywriter on a content project or an illustrator on a branding project, but the project lead stays constant.
  4. Show progress in working artifactsEvery two weeks you see something real: a staging URL, a clickable Figma file, a draft document. We don't go quiet for a month and reveal a finished thing. That is how scope drifts and stakeholders get surprised.
  5. Ownership at the endSource code, design files, hosting accounts, domain registrar. All yours. No retainer required to keep things running. We hope you keep working with us, but never because you can't leave.

What we look for in clients

We work best with clients who:

  • Have a real business to support. Not "I want to start a website."
  • Are open to being told their first idea isn't quite right when we think so.
  • Can name the buyer they are trying to reach in a sentence or two.
  • Want fewer, deeper pages instead of more, thinner pages.
  • Care more about the work holding up over time than about hitting an arbitrary launch date.

We work less well with clients who want to micromanage at the pixel level, clients with a "we'll know it when we see it" creative brief, and clients hunting for the cheapest provider who wants it shipped yesterday. We say so up front rather than 6 weeks in.

Frequently asked questions

U.S. small and mid-size businesses, usually 5 to 200 employees, that need a hand-built website instead of a templated one. Our work tends to fall into a few buckets: B2B services firms that have outgrown their original site, healthcare practices that need privacy-aware web work, and businesses that want to show up inside AI tools as well as Google.

One-off single-page or single-asset projects like a logo, a one-pager, or one landing page are usually too small for us to take on. Above that we work on anything from a 5-page custom WordPress build up to a 12-month Laravel application. Most projects sit between $5,000 and $80,000.

Marketplace freelancers are great when you have a tight spec and a self-contained task. We are better when the project needs strategic decisions along the way: what content should exist, how the site should be structured, what AI tools need to see. And when the deliverable has to fit into a bigger brand or content system.

A small senior team. The same person you talk to during scoping is the one reviewing your build. We do not staff projects with a parade of junior contractors. We say no to engagements that would force us to scale that way.
